Collage


Concept:
Fabricate a collage of an old master painting. This collage will later be used for a painting

Materials:
Bristol board, illustration board or a heavy paper to adhere the cut out paper to. This heavier paper will not warp from the glue. .
-H4 or H2 pencil for transferring the image
-Ruler
-Glue: a glue stick or watered down Elmer’s glue and a cheap brush will work
-Magazines (you will be cutting pages from magazines illustrations)

Approach:
Research an artist of your choice from the following names below:
Some of the names you can find in the DCCC library between NB198-887 and NC905. Also search between ND 50-11135. You may use the internet as an additional researching tool. Choose an Artist/Book and bring to class for a small presentation.
